Adventurers League (AL) is organized Dungeons & Dragons play with official rules from WotC. Players use the 5th edition rules to create a character and can join any game. You can play D&D Adventurers League games anywhere D&D Adventurers League play is happening. This can be a great environment for new players, kids and families, or those with busy schedules as you don't need to commit to attending every session to come play!
To join a game you'll need to create a character following these directions:
use the Player's Handbook or the Basic Rules and up to 1 other official resource book
read the Adventurers League Player's Guide for guidance making a character and information about what books and features are available to you
if this is your first time making an AL character, come to the game a little early and your Dungeon Master can ensure you have a ready to play AL legal character
if you have questions or are unsure about your character don't worry! Until your character reaches 5th level, you can rebuild them to better fit your adventure
Once that's done you can find an Adventurers League game in the roleplaying forums and join a table with a free space. If you have an existing AL character, they can be brought into a new game appropriate to the character's level.
You do not need to purchase any supplies to come play but, if you so choose, some useful things to bring include:
set (or 2.. or 10) of dice and a small dice tray
notepad or binder of paper with pencil and erasure
copy of the Player's Handbook
miniature for your character
calculator, spell cards, or other similar play aides

When do you plan to run games? Also hit me up if you think you need a spare DM :)
We could use a spare GM to start up a whole other campaign! Our goal is to have several games going throughout the week to make it easy for locals to find a game!
If anyone else out there would like to be running some games for us please let us know ... we are excited to pair with quality GM's and have a good rewards plan in the works!
